Doppleganger

We met Maggie's twin at the dog park this weekend.

I mean, come on. What are the chances? True, the town is rifle with Doodles -- Calgary is a Designer Dog kind of town.

It reminds me, strangely, of the Friends' episode. You know the one where Joey finds his Hand Double and he and Phoebe rack their brains trying to come with a money making scheme from this fluke of nature??

Yep, Rupert's owners and I did the same thing for 15 minutes. It was only the pending start of the Olympic Gold Medal hockey game that drove us away from our planning.

Opportunity missed?

My backyard

The relevance between these two photos? Very little -- both these items happen to reside in my backyard.

Took a 90 min power walk in the sun, then returned home to play with light and perspective in the garden.

I would like to have the point of focus on the chair to be at the front left post. Otherwise, I really like this picture.

Tulips

Dennis brought me these lovely tulips on Saturday. The weather has taken a turn for the Spring, and these were a colourful injection of such into my home.

I passed the dining room and caught the light coming from the south window. I like how it warms the corn? beige? sand? (apologies to my mother, the artist) wall in the background.

Spent the day at Lake Minnewanka. ("Lake Willly Wonka?")

A few pics to keep you in the loop.
